Fidlock Vacuum Ahead Cap Base -phone mount consists of a magnetic mount and an Ahead base that is screwed to the steerer tube. The magnetic mount is placed on top of the base and fastened easily with a clamp or slotted screw. The magnetic mount can thus be removed quickly when the smartphone is not needed, while the base remains screwed to the bike.
To attach the phone to the mount, a magnetic counterpart is required, either a Vacuum phone case or the universal Vacuum adhesive plate that attaches to a phone case. With the connector the phone is easy to attach and the magnetic force centers the phone in the holder. The vacuum suction power is always guaranteed and the mobile device cannot slip out of the mount. Attachment is additionally secured by a suction cup that creates negative pressure. The phone is released from the mount simply by pressing the lever on the side of the holder.
Thanks to the combination of magnetic force and vacuum, the smartphone can be used with one hand and rotated 360°, while the ball lock prevents it from rotating during the ride.
