  • The durable fabric construction of Comp-o-stik™ is a strong blend of natural and synthetic fibers. Together they provide excellent abrasion resistance compared to traditional cotton tapes. This fabric construction also ensures the tape withstands the rigors of play.

Comp-o-stik™ is highly moisture-resistant. The fabric's water absorbency is a factor that affects snow buildup on hockey tape and the adhesive stripping off the stick. Comp-o-stik™ hockey tape significantly reduces water uptake and snow buildup on the blade without waxing. The tape lasts longer and saves time preparing the stick. However, if you do want to use wax, Comp-o-stik™ also works with wax.

Our white tape is cleaner and brighter than tapes made from unbleached cotton. Our black tape is made from fabric dyed black using a special dyeing process that gives it a true "deep black" appearance that does not fade or bleach with use.
